Governikus supports the association Deutschland sicher im Netz e. V. (DsiN)

Bremen, 09.05.2022

The association Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN) supports consumers and companies in the safe and self-determined use of digital services and technologies. This commitment is supported by organizations of the economy and civil society in cooperation with the federal government and science. Governikus supports the goals of the association as a new member.

"IT security and data protection are very important to us. That is why we are pleased to be able to support the association Deutschland sicher im Netz e. V. with our knowledge as a member in the future," says Stephan Klein, Managing Director of Governikus. "In a first joint project, we will introduce citizens to the functions of the online ID card as part of the digital guide."

Governikus would like to support the association in particular in the promotion of digital competencies in the subject area of the digital driver's license. It also aims to collaborate on other projects, such as the transfer of knowledge on IT security to small and medium-sized enterprises.

"Governikus' expertise and experience in core issues of data protection and IT security are essential for DsiN's educational work. This also includes assistance in protecting identities on the Internet. We are therefore very much looking forward to the commitment and cooperation with Governikus as a new member," said Dr. Michael Littger, Managing Director of DsiN, welcoming the new member.

DsiN's offerings are aimed at consumers and companies alike. With the DsiN digital driving license, a new offer for the acquisition of basic skills on the Internet was recently launched with the support of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. With its many years of experience in the field of software and IT security for the public sector and other customers, Governikus will strengthen DsiN's commitment in many ways.
