When the Governikus Annual Conference opens its doors on February 26 and 27, visitors can expect a diverse range of panel discussions, best-practice presentations, workshops and an accompanying exhibition. Panel guests such as the CIO of the Federal Government, State Secretary Klaus Vitt, Bremen's CIO, State Councillor Hans-Henning Lühr, and the Chairman of the National Standards Control Council, Dr. Johannes Ludewig, will talk with Governikus Managing Director Dr. Stephan Klein about the future of digital administration. The Bremen-based eGovernment specialists are offering an event app for smartphones to ensure that visitors do not lose track of the wide range of events on the program.
"Via the Governikus Annual Meeting app, we can provide our visitors with all the latest information in a straightforward and timely manner - even before our event has even started," says Petra Waldmüller-Schantz, Director Communications at Governikus. "With the Governikus Annual Conference, we pursue the goal of being in close dialog with customers and partners. The app further supports this approach." That's because the smartphone app offers more than just an electronic program guide.
"Visitors can find out about speakers, panel guests and Governikus partners in the accompanying exhibition with just a few clicks and participate directly in live voting," Waldmüller-Schantz adds. In addition, the app offers travel and hotel information at a glance and a so-called social wall on which all tweets with the hashtag #GovernikusJT are clearly displayed.
