COVID-19 still has our country firmly in its grip and a return to normality and thus to familiar events is unfortunately not foreseeable at this point in time.
This is now prompting us to break new ground. After examining all the possibilities, it seems to us that transferring a 2-day event, which is also geared to the all-important networking aspect, to the digital world is not the right thing to do.
Nevertheless: the Governikus Annual Conference will also find its way this year - but differently than before. Particularly in these times, a lot is happening in terms of digitization, and the need for it has once again become clearer. The Governikus Annual Conference as an important information event will take place throughout the year in the truest sense of the word. For this purpose, there will be several 1- to 2-hour sessions spread over the year, which will inform about current topics with different formats. We are currently working on the corresponding concept. We will inform you about this and the individual dates in the course of January 2021.
We all hope that we will be able to hold another Governikus Annual Conference in 2022 with on-site presence and digital participation. The date has already been set: February 23-24, 2022 at the dbb forum Berlin.
