After studying computer science at the University of Bremen, Dr. Klaus Lüttich first worked as a research assistant at the University of Bremen in the Collaborative Research Center "Spatial Cognition" (SFB/TR8) with a research focus on formal methods and algebraic specification. In 2007, he completed his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) with the topic "Development of Structured Ontologies in CASL" and began working as a product manager at Governikus, where he was initially involved in the creation of the detailed concept for the topic "Secure Access to Federated E-Justice/E-Government" (S.A.F.E.).

Since 2009, he has been increasingly involved with the integrated use of various communication systems in public administration to set up virtual mailrooms. Starting in 2010, Dr. Lüttich built on this to focus on the implementation of future-proof multi-channel strategies. From 2011 to 2017, Dr. Lüttich was responsible as Product Manager and Product Owner (CSPO) for Governikus MultiMessenger, which is now managed as an application of the IT Planning Council.

Since 2018, Dr. Lüttich has been primarily responsible for the topics of OSCI, CEF eDelivery, Peppol, and XTA and accompanies the implementation of these topics in Governikus' software products. Furthermore, due to his comprehensive expertise in the area of secure data transmission as well as encryption and decryption, he advises the entire topic area "Secure Communication" at Governikus.
