As product manager at Governikus, Benny Birnbaum is responsible for the TR-ESOR-compliant solution DATA Aeonia (formerly Governikus LZA) for the evidence-preserving long-term storage of electronically signed documents.
In 2016, Benny Birnbaum transferred to Governikus from the German Navy, where he worked for four years as an IT officer on board. With a degree in computer science, he initially took over the core system and signature generation topics in the Governikus Service Components focus area and has been dedicated to DATA Aeonia since the end of 2018.
In addition to his work in the team, he is also a member of the ETSI working group ESI (Electronic Signatures and Infrastructure). Most recently, he played a leading role in the development of an electronic scheme for algorithm catalogs. He also holds the following certifications, among others: ITIL Expert, Information Security Officer and Six Sigma Green Belt.
