The challenges of digital transformation in public administration

Concrete solutions are needed at federal, state and municipal level in order to successfully shape change. The Dataport Open House 2025 offers a forum where public administration representatives and IT experts come together to learn about tried-and-tested solutions and innovative approaches that enable efficient and secure administration.

Whether in lectures, discussions or expert talks - participants can gather inspiration and receive assistance for their everyday work. The topics also incorporate feedback from our surveys. Dataport focuses on content that affects customers on a daily basis. These include, among others:

  • Automation and artificial intelligence: How algorithms and AI can help to counter the shortage of skilled workers and make processes more efficient.
  • Cloudification: How applications can be moved securely and efficiently to the cloud - and how administrations can benefit from this.
  • Data protection and IT security: How challenges such as data protection guidelines and security requirements etc. become opportunities for digital administration.
  • Digital administration: What is needed on the way to a media-free and citizen-friendly administration (as a service).

Governikus will be on site with a presentation.
