Already during his studies in process engineering, Stefan Rauner focused on IT-supported process optimization. Suitable forms of participation and stakeholder management in interdisciplinary and intercultural projects were the focus of his activities as a project architect and project manager. As a freelance project consultant, he was responsible for application-oriented research projects in the field of sustainable forms of mobility and their software-based networking before joining Governikus in 2002. The establishment of iterative approaches, change processes and requirement engineering made up his areas of responsibility as a consultant, team leader and change manager.

Stefan Rauner has been an authorized signatory since 2012 and is primarily responsible for business development, portfolio management and marketing. As General Portfolio Manager, he develops visions for the Governikus product portfolio with users, functional managers, product management and the producing teams, which have a sustainable effect at the interface between market and technology. By means of this collaborative approach, he orchestrates the continuous adaptive development of Governikus' IT Planning Council applications.
