Jörg Heynkes has been entrepreneurially active in the areas of media, sustainability and project development since 1985. He currently manages three different companies in the areas of real estate development and marketing, as well as in consulting for municipalities and companies for innovation, sustainability, energy and mobility.
In 2016, he founded "Entrance - Robotics", a company that works in the field of humanoid robotics and artificial intelligence. He is involved in other start-ups as an investor and accompanies them with his experience and network.

Jörg Heynkes has been involved in various research projects on technical and social innovation and transformation. He regularly speaks and writes about his experiences in a wide range of leading media, and in 2018 his book "Zukunft 4.1 / Warum wir die Welt nur digital retten - oder gar gar nicht" (Future 4.1 / Why we can only save the world digitally - or not at all) was published.
For several years, he has been internationally successful as a keynote speaker and inspires his audience in his role as "Der ZukunftsMacher".
His persuasive power lies, among other things, in the fact that he speaks from experience and has already put much of what he talks about into practice and is driving it forward with great passion. Like his current project "Gut Einern", in which a climate-neutral neighborhood with a "vertical farm", permaculture, manufactory, farm store, multi-generational living and alternative mobility and sharing concepts is being created.

Until 2021, he served 8 years as Vice President of the Bergische Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where he still participates in the Parliament of Business. He is also currently involved on a voluntary basis as Vice Chairman of the "LEE-Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien in NRW". At the association "Aufbruch am Arrenberg" he initiated the project "Klimaquartier Arrenberg", which has received much attention throughout Germany. He is also the winner of the "German Solar Prize 2016".
