Governikus strongly condemns Russia's attack on Ukraine, which is contrary to international law. Governikus rejects any form of war and violence. We stand for democracy, the rule of law and human rights, as well as for a pluralistic society and the protection of minorities.
We stand with the people of Ukraine. Ukraine is a democratic state under the rule of law, which may have been attacked by Russia's autocracy precisely because of the democracy in the neighboring country. We join the demand "Stop War!" with full conviction. In doing so, we also want to strengthen the voices in Russia and the world that oppose the autocracy of their home country and stand up for democracy and human rights.
