Secure communication
If the way were the goal, we would already be there!
Everyone talks about the shortcomings of eGovernment in Germany but few about what has already been achieved. With the OSCI standards, 23 years ago we created a simple "way" for public authorities to communicate in a binding, confidential and secure way. Every:r of us has been OSCI-rt to transmit our data confidentially and traceably over the Internet. With the judiciary as the driver, this infrastructure is now also used by lawyers, tax advisors, caregivers, banks, insurance companies, debt collectors and many more. In Germany, we can do more than just use the autobahn; we can also communicate securely.
This workshop will focus on the status quo and the possibilities for reusing this infrastructure, which already delivers nearly 2 billion messages per year to their destination in a legally binding, confidential and traceable manner.
Why not "just make solutions simple"?
Why not "just make solutions simple"? With XTA, a standard has been developed that can most easily be imagined as a direct line to the digital mailroom. In practice, I don't want to know how my documents reach the recipient(s), I just want to make sure that it works, that all legal requirements are met and, most importantly, that the transmission is traceable. In this Barcamp, we will show how various communication scenarios can already be implemented today via a simple XTA interface and how you can also "make your challenges simple".
